A Quick Exhortation

The Lord is our light and our salvation; whom shall we fear? The Lord is the strength of our lives; of whom shall we be afraid?

It helps to be reminded of how much we are so deeply loved by our Heavenly Father, our God, our Creator. This love is not like any other love we see; This love was poured out on us, though we never deserved it. This love is an everlasting love. It is a love that is present in our trials. It is a love that comforts in pain and affliction. It is a love that keeps us standing and stepping forward in the midst of hopelessness and setbacks. This love for us was so deep - His love was for us, and for absolutely everyone, that He sent Jesus Christ. Whoever believes in Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Yes, I am aware that I have said this in the past, and I will not stop in declaring this truth because it's what each and every one of us need. Whether we are at the top of the mountain, or in the bottom of the darkest valley, His love is there. Christ is there. When all else fails, Christ is there. He never leaves, He never forsakes us... and in Him, we have all the reason in the world to give thanks.

Present suffering only helps us to see how we cannot count on anything else but Christ. It is not a setback, merely a prelude to a revelation of God's great glory and unfailing love.

God bless and keep you. I may not know what you are going through, but I am definitely sure in saying that if you call in the name of Christ, you will be saved.

Shalom.
