Guy has plan. Boss in favor with plan. Guy comfortable. Boss comfortable. Guy proceeds with plan. Boss suddenly changes his mind. Guy asks why. Boss drowns guy with managerial jargon. Guy gets frustrated. Boss loses respect for guy.
Isn't that just nice. Mix and match and you get: Guy has plan. Other party in favor with plan. Other party changes his/her mind. Guy asks why. Guy gets frustrated.
Does Guy have to be flexible, or should Boss/Girl have to be straightforward?
At least sitcom people get their problems solved within 30 minutes.
