That one song by David Brymmer goes, 'For from You are all things, and to You are all things..' derived from the Book of Romans. I believe the same principle goes when it comes to our plans and visions.
It is one thing for us to base our visions on facts, for factual results.
We have the Truth that is Christ Himself alive in us, we are able to say that (1) as Christ is, so are we in this world, and (2) it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives within us. What this entails is that as Christ is beloved, blessed, and favored, so we are beloved, blessed, and favored by God in this world - and, it is no longer we who rise, run and conquer, but Christ who rises, runs and conquers through us.
Because of these two Scriptural truths we can say that we are in the picture as receivers, and Christ is the producer. With that said, we are able to birth our visions from Truth, to Truth.

If Christ says that His words will never pass away, then His words are as eternal as He is the Truth. Even the Living Word's words are timeless and forever! This ought to be our guideline when it comes to determining the source & goal of our visions.
This changes our definition of success, and our perspective on logistics and resources. What a thought to ponder on!
