Light And Faith Seen In People

I used to go with the prevailing mindset looking negatively at the fact that that there are a lot of people in Baguio.
More people meant more houses built and less trees. More people meant more cars and more pollution.

While it's easy for us to think that, I believe we would have a greater degree of lasting peace if we looked at the increasing population not just in a positive manner but through faith in Christ.
We've talked about how our faith is edified through God's Word, and His Word is comprehended further in His creation. We see this in the mountains, and in the valleys, the lakes and the rivers and the trees, easily.

Are we able to see it in people, who are also God's creation? We are all diverse, yet all made in God's image. Are we able to see God's Word in action in ourselves? Or are we constantly finding ourselves lacking?

In Christ alone can we appreciate others. In Christ, our potential is graciously revealed. It doesn't matter how old we are, or what we've been through in this world. As soon as we find ourselves resting in Christ's loving presence, everything makes sense under our God, our loving Father who knows all, sees all, and is sovereign.

We ought to trust more than to understand that last statement. Oftentimes it's just knowing that we are in the loving arms of God that keeps us at peace. But I dare say, I believe the Holy Spirit is moving in our midst, stirring us up to search deeper into His power, love, and wisdom as made apparent in His creation, which includes you and me.

I'm reminded of the element Plutonium. Now I may not know the exact science behind this, and I could be inaccurate in my analysis - if that be the case, please, please correct me. But I know that by itself, it is harmless. It is His creation. But when we see the potentials of this element in the light of faith, we see massive amounts of power to the masses. When we see its in the sting of fear, we see millions of lives extinguished in a second.

I praise God for Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. While we are in this world, we are lovingly guided to see all things through the eyes of faith - people included. Yes, people. This includes terrorists who want to torture and kill us for our trust in Christ alone. This includes these people who would care less and probably even cheer when we are persecuted.

Men, this includes the ladies who show a little extra skin.
Women, this includes those of us who look at you like an object.

Lovingly looking at people with the same forgiveness and love Christ extended to us will never make sense to the carnal mind. But because of the power of the Holy Spirit, Christ's obedience becomes our obedience, and thus we are able to behold and exude the great power, love, and wisdom of God even more.

Let us come into terms with our faith. It was established by Christ, it is nourished and perfected by Christ. It is because of His love for us that we move and have our being. It is not the other way around.

Believe, believe, believe. There is nothing more to sing, nothing more to share, nothing more to say, but that we all should believe. More than anything, we should believe, and keep on believing in Christ.

Halleluyah.
