Beloved in Christ, I must say that when you believe it in your heart that you are blessed to be a blessing, you become fueled to go beyond just acting for yourself, and you actually look forward to blessing others.
It's true. If you invest in other people just for them to be better and for no other reason, the seeds that you plant will grow - it may be now, it may be later, you may or may not see it, but it definitely grows, because that's how things work as you walk with Christ! The more you allow Him to work in, through, and for you, the more you will behold His absolute glory in the face of our absolute imperfection; in other words, Christ is the best thing that can happen to anyone, regardless of age, status, and/or track record!
Here I go again; I'm just churning out whatever is coming into my mind right now, and all that I can say is that we have a Creator who loves us, a Father who deeply cares for us - we have a Savior who knows our struggles, a Shepherd who felt our pain... We have a King who was tempted in every way, but remained without sin... and as the song goes, 'He became sin, who knew no sin, so we could become His righteousness.'
Halleluyah! Praise be to our God, our Father who loves us with such an everlasting love, that while we were yet sinners He gave all so we would have all..
let me just tell you this -
You don't need to be down in the dumps anymore.
You don't need to prove yourself to anyone.
You don't need to belong, you don't need the whole world to see you, much less love you.
I used to think that way.
But now I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that God is not angry with you.
He is not a tyrant dictator.
He is our loving, Heavenly Father.
He loves you. Yes, you. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take your frustrations, your pain, your insecurities, your emptiness, your sickness, 2000 years ago at the cross at Calvary.
He rose from the dead, into life, for you to live, and to live abundantly.
You may have questions. Ask Jesus.
You may have doubts. Seek Jesus.
You may have what you say are other priorities. Knock on His door...
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!
