I've been on this earth for approximately 23 and a half years, and like many people my age, I have met so many people since my first breath. I've seen so many peoples' faces, I've heard so many peoples' voices, I've felt so many peoples' feelings... and I've also heard of so many peoples' problems.
Could someone check my grammar on that last sentence? I don't know if that was correct.
Anyway. As I have said, I've also heard about so many problems, so many forms of pain that people have gone through. With the vast number of forms of pain, I believe that negates our right to go ahead and tell someone that we've been through more sh*t than they have.
There's only one man who I think is an exception. We all know about Him. He was God made man, sent to earth to serve as a sacrifice for all of us. I seriously believe that during Jesus' brief stint among us here, He has gone through all the forms of pain that we can imagine. I mean, He was rejected, hated, wrongly accused, betrayed, ridiculed, challenged, doubted, and tempted, among other things I couldn't think about or locate. In addition to that, His execution was the most painful sort of death imaginable. He felt what we felt, because He loved us that much.
Perhaps you have some pain in you that is unbearable? Take it to God, and I assure you, He will NOT fail you. I'd like to say that He would tell you 'Been there, done that', however, that is usually backed up with an understanding beyond our reasoning capabilities.
I'm sure Jesus has been through the pain of silent treatment too. I don't really know where it is. Can somebody care to show me where it is in the Bible? How did He go about it?
