If you haven't tried FastFoodFever's Surf n Turf I suggest you do, especially if you've been fasting all day. It was a mediocre yet satisfying union of cow and unidentified fish. Follow that up with a crude float (Melted remains of a Hot Fudge Sundae with a Regular Coke) and you're all set.
It must be hard to be a teacher. Unlike construction, cooking, and CG character development and sales (Just following alliteration, you lifeless Ragnarok-playing soon-to-be-afflicted-with-Parkinson's zombies), it's quite tough to recognize and appreciate the results you get on a daily basis. And unlike the abovementioned jobs, you probably couldn't sleep immediately out of worry of what would happen the next day.
Let's generalize that. Let's just say it's tough to be in a job involving development of/interaction with people. You don't see the fruits of your labor immediately.
See, I didn't have this problem when I was in my original position of a frontline agent. My only care was the person on the other end of the phone. I was tired, yet I would go home satisfied that I was able to talk to a total stranger and make a difference in his life; Good or bad, it was a difference nonetheless.
Being in the position above that demands that you make sure that each and every frontliner that goes through you feels the same thing, and this is easier said than done. If a dish comes out too bland, you can always add some extra seasoning. Houses and cars can be repainted, and trees can be grafted.
The main point here is there's a solid approach to changing things. And I meant THINGS. I understand that every person has an ideal and unique method of approach. But if you have 10 people you have to approach, there's a tendency that you can get confused, rattled, and stressed.
Damn, am I making sense? I'm so pissed now.. I couldn't type as good as I used to. I need something. But here's another approach (pardon the pun) to have you understand how I feel about this job; The chorus to Incognito's People At The Top:
People at the top looking down
They don't wanna know who's at the back of the line
People at the top looking down
Can't relate to our troubled minds
People at the top looking down
Dammit, I'm waiting for my palm. Then this will be over. :D
