What you can develop in your head after a split second event can appall you.
So I was on my way home a while on a taxi, barely keeping my sanity after all that traffic. All is well until we pass through one location: The Convention Center, surrounded by them streamers of that wireless internet service with the oblivious chick on it. What event deserves such advertising, I began to wonder. As we turned to go down to that buddhist garden previously known as Japan, I get my answer: It's Baguio's Tossed Salad Festival.
I internalize that factoid that I wouldn't remotely care about anyway. Then I start thinking; If that was really a Tossed Salad Festival, shouldn't we be seeing less ads and more policemen and crying hippie-hop inmates?
Sorry. Inside Joke. Listen to Chris Rock when you have the chance and get back to me.
Also, why do I think that these events attract more banners than people? Is this a sign that we are just getting harder to please? This reminds me of that driver who didn't give a fuck if Ethel Booba's sister rode his taxi. I salute you. Thank you for verbally bitchslapping her. "Di mo ako kilala?", my native mountain foot.
That looks like a good thing to expound on. No, not the bitchslapping part, the harder to please part. Something worth continuing, hopefully this time it'll follow through.
Later for now.
Whaaaaaaaat an oxymoron.
Here's something I may be dedicating to someone soon. Those people from Incognito must have spent some time here in Baguio some time or another.
You know as true as trees are tall
And autumn leaves do fall
Oh, it sometimes rains in paradise
And even the warmest heart can turn to ice
I know it happens to us all
Every kind of people fall
And after all the tears are gone
Do we have the heart to carry on
Chorus:
Here and now, still somehow
Still a friend of mine, oh you’re still a friend of mine
Still a friend of mine, you’re still a friend of mine
Still a friend of mine, oh you’re still a friend of mine
Oh
To think of all the times I hurt you
And never thought it through
Oh, I treated you so badly baby
Could such a cruel heart ever be free
I know it happens to us all
Every kind of people fall
Oh, and after all is said and done
Do we have the heart to carry on
Chorus
I know as long as I’ve got you
And we do the things we do
The next time baby
That our love breaks down
I’ll do the best that I can
To turn it around
Chorus
Time and time and time again
I’m gonna be right here for you baby
Seasons come and seasons go
Gonna be right here for you
Repeat x 3 (fade)
