Before I Go On

The word for this season is Focus. We need to stay focused on the truth. While our problems and issues exist, they fade, as they are ultimately temporary in the light of absolute and eternal Truth.

The law came through Moses, but Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ. We would not be wasting any time when we turn our eyes towards Jesus. We are not saying this in a plea for you to look at Christ for you to be saved and/or blessed - rather, in the midst of all the chaos in this world, you have the choice whether to direct your thoughts towards these things that would put even the strongest-willed among us to painful submission, or to focus on the Truth of Christ, which includes who you are and what you have in Him, no matter what.

Let us stay focused on Christ. Personally, I have seen new things happen, and old things made new in the recent weeks. We have new stuff coming from nowhere just being provided to us. I am seeing damaged relationships not only getting a facelift but made perfectly new. Old responsibilities have been redirected and reassigned, and new challenges have been put in place. New things come up for expansion. New things come up for for edification. New things come up, and new directions follow. New visions are being revealed, and new directions follow. I have seen new things happen, and new things are continuing to come up. All this could not have happened because of anything we have done, or because of anything we are, but all this has happened and continues to happen because of Christ!

Let us stay focused on Christ!

I say again, let us stay focused on Christ!

These are exciting times.
