What's nice about repenting and allowing our minds to embrace God's grace fully every day is that we realize more and more how we can truly be effective and efficient in the advancement of God's kingdom. It's such a marvelous thing to know, that as we keep going forward, step by step, God makes all efforts; no, ALL THINGS - He causes ALL THINGS to work for the good of those who love Him.
I believe this should dispel or break any lies and curses that have us leaning towards performance anxiety. Though we geared towards excellence, we will still stumble and fall short (also according to our own standards at times). But we must acknowledge that it wasn't all about our own efforts in the first place, and that if we were to truly move and perform in excellence, it would all come a perfect God who wants the best for us in Christ.
Took me a while to think about that last sentence.
If we act from our own strength and out of our own volition, whether we see it or not, it'll be all about us, and our actions would not be as profitable. But if we move according to the leading of God's Spirit, through Christ who strengthens us, it'll all be for His glory, and consequently, our good.
Not sure where this is going, but I pray it'll point towards Jesus being our ultimate supply, our ultimate source and destination.
