Some notes from Proverbs 26:
Do not be as a fool, who requires harsh discipline and extra effort to speak with sensibly; He is stubborn and unreliable. (see 26:3-11)
Do not be as a lazy man, who is wise in his own eyes - a fool is better off than him! He is unproductive, and impractical. (see 26:12-16)
Do not be as a liar, fueled by hatred and yet starved for attention. He say good things with his mouth but his heart is filled with hatred. He has no peace, for he fears his wickedness will be revealed! (see 26:17-28)
Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my mind and my heart. - Psalm 26:2
Shalom.
