God forgive me.
I've been going around promoting any opposition against SOPA (a government proposition) when I should have been more open to a more Biblical point of view.
I believe most of us have been getting involved in this issue by signing online petitions, and telling others to do the same, all in the name of maintaining freedom of speech in the internet. It is nowhere in my intentions to sound holier-than-thou but what have we been doing with this 'freedom' before this issue came up?
Remember the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. 2 out of 3 servants used what was entrusted to them wisely. One hid his talent and was stripped and rejected.
2 out of 3 used and flourished, one abused and fell.
"For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. " - Matthew 25:29
Something for all of us to think about before we start complaining. Let's look at ourselves and repent, before pointing at other people to blame.
