"Lord, bakit wala pa kaming ilaw?"

"Parang yun na lang ang hinahanap mo ah."

(long silence)

"Lord, sorry po."

(silence)

"You are the center of my life."

(silence)

"YOU ARE THE CENTER OF MY LIFE!"

"Let there be light."

....and then there was light. Thanks for finally pushing through, Beneco. We were out of power here at home for more than 36 hours, and by God's grace, we got it back again. It's been a while since I felt so happy to see the lights of our neighbors on the drive going up to our place.

I'm still feeling so happy that I want to blog about it. To God be all the glory, really. This is an article expressing how I want to give Him the glory in the light, whether it be provided by a fluorescent bulb or a humble candle.

We do well by giving God the praise even in our most trying circumstances. Sometimes it takes more than just a push to raise our hands in surrender to Him, but remember that the Lord will never allow us to be tried and tested more than we can handle. The enemy will try to bog us down by saying that there is no light in the darkness, but the sooner we deny ourselves and take step after step in following Jesus Christ, the sooner we will see how His faithfulness knows no circumstance too complicated for His love to shine so surely through all we are subject to perceive. He will always provide a way to bear or escape the trouble (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Take heart. I believe what Corrie Ten Boom said: "There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still."

Jesus Christ of Nazareth never wasted His words. He meant what He said in John 14:6. Go on and read it.

He also came that we may have life, and that we might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

"In Him was life; and the life was the light of men." - John 1:4

Follow the Way.
Grow in the Truth.
Live the Life.
Let His light shine!

To God be all the glory!
