Proverbs 5:3-4 For the lips of a forbidden (immoral) woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil, but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
The seductress, the tempter will try to appeal to you through your desires, but when you succumb to temptation and you sin, you take a step away from God's presence, and a step closer to destruction.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD's presence, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Bring your heart with all its desires to the LORD through praise, prayer and thanksgiving. Dwell in His presence, and allow Him to direct you, and to align your will with His will. Trust in him to give you what is truly best for you, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
That's how much we need the Lord - He knows whats best for us more than we think we do.
