So far, so something
Has life ever shot you up with so much thought-provoking events over a small period of time?
So much happened this week. At least in my opinion.
I was on my way home in a taxi last Tuesday morning, and the driver and I happened to see this cute little black puppy hanging out in what looked like his self-declared turf on the road, scrounging around what looked like a crack which was around three to five feet away from the sidewalk. I remember I concurred with the driver when he said whoever was taking care of that puppy had better keep a close eye on him.
The next shift I learned that Chris Benoit died. His reign as World Heavyweight Champion on the Raw brand was one event that made me start watching WWE again. He was one of the best technical wrestlers in the business, and I was literally shocked when a fellow fan and friend sent me a YM, 'PATAY NA SI CHRIS BENOIT!!!'. Shock was followed by frustration when I learned of the events surrounding his death. Up until now, I cannot believe that a man with so much achievement could go so low. God bless his relatives.
The Crippler is dead. Long live the Crippler.
I was on my way home on that day, and I saw the lifeless body of the same puppy in the same location. Apparently nobody kept a close eye on him.
Yesterday it came to my attention that Sherri Martel, a.k.a. The Sensational Sherri died too. She was the former valet of another (living) wrestler I respect and admire, the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. I learned more about her demise last night's shift, the same shift where it was my first time to actually tell a Sitel hopeful that he had to work elsewhere.
Phone Certifications was never a happy event.
It's a Friday. What can happen today?
